Who are we?
Hello friend! Welcome! We are a small suburban flower farm, seasonal plant nursery, as well as a fiber arts pattern shop & handmade items boutique.
My name is Dalah and I am the owner and 1 woman show behind Seeds ‘N Stitches! I was born and raised in Sonoma County California, as the oldest of my parent’s 13 homeschooled kids! I’ve been gardening since my early teens (although I “helped” my Mom and grandfather a lot when I was a little kid.) and I’ve been crocheting since I was 7 years old (circa 1997!). I taught myself to knit in 2020 and the next year, Seeds ‘N Stitches was born!
My husband Daniel and I have 4 kiddos of our own, here in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA.
I run Seeds ‘N Stitches from home, where I grow all the cut flowers and nursery plant starts myself, started from seeds, bulbs, etc. I am hands-on with every step of the process and quality/perfection is my obsession.
The wintertime is when the fiber arts really get the time they deserve from me! I design and sell patterns for both knit & crochet, as well as some of my handmade physical finished items when I can!
Our dream is to buy land of our own here in Sonoma County one day! I dream of enough land to homestead on, and scale up all aspects of my tiny business.
Incorporating permaculture and sustainable agriculture farming techniques to effectuate good stewardship of creation is important to me. I am committed to always leave the pieces of ground that I use in better condition than when I found it. I am so blessed to be able to do something I absolutely love as I work towards that dream! (It doesn’t even feel like work!) Thank you for letting me serve you!
